I hope everyone had a great St. Patrick’s weekend. We went to a comedy event in the 3Arena on Friday night which featured Al Porter, Dara O’ Briain, PJ Gallagher, Tommy Tiernan and loads more. This was the first ever Irish event in aid of Comic Relief and it raised a whopping €300,000! I’ll do a little Instagram post on the acts we saw soon.
This blog post, however is all about nutrition.
I studied Home Ec in school and would have a basic understanding of nutrition based on my own research but now I’m going to further improve my studies. I could tell you the benefits of coconut oil or various fruits and vegetables but I now want to be a nutrition expert. I have just enrolled in a nutrition course and once completed I will be certified at Level 3 & 4 by the Association of Nutrition. Yay! I can’t wait to understand this area a bit more and be able to provide enhanced content for my blog. I do post about food a lot and I want to be able to include nutritional benefits too.
I think it’s so important for us to understand what we are putting into our bodies and how to fuel our bodies to operate at an optimum level and fight off illness, how we should be eating when exercising, etc.
I’m always going to love the odd cheat meal though!
I’m eager to learn more about dairy products versus plant-based products and animal sources of food in general.
Get ready for lots more posts in the food section of my blog detailing nutritional benefits.
There are so many part time courses available now. My advice is if you’ve always wanted to study something the time is now! Next on my list is a course in video creation so I can provide better YouTube content when I go travelling.
