Hi Blog Readers!
Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend!
As you know I’ve raved about High Beam from Benefit for highlighting.
I was using a Beauty Blender to rub the product in, however I found that it was leaving a streaky result on my skin so I purchased this contouring brush from Penneys last week.
I already use these Real Techniques brushes for contouring with the Seventeen Define & Conquer contour palette both of which I’m a huge fan of, so I just use the smaller end of the Penneys brush to blend the High Beam.
After applying my primer, concealer and foundation I apply High Beam along both of my cheekbones, down the middle of my nose, underneath my eyebrows and a tiny bit on my upper lip. I then blend this in with the smaller end of the contouring brush.
I have also been getting my eyebrows threaded at the beauty bar at Penneys in Mary Street, Dublin. I’ve gone to many other places before including The Body Shop and the Shavata brow bar at Harvey Nichols and I find that all the staff at the Penneys brow bar are the best. It costs just €8 and my brows have never had such a defined shape. I always use Gimme Brow by Benefit to define them, which I have blogged about in a previous post.
