This may seem like a crazy thing to do, but having tried and tested it I have to recommend this as one of my favourite hair masks!! You don’t need to spend a fortune on hair products and treatments. This mask will make your hair look soft, shiny and healthy – it is great for hair that is dry, damaged, or dull My hair is highlighted so I need to give it some TLC every so often to keep it looking and feeling healthy. So what you need for this hair mask is 2 egg yolks (only the yellow, drain out the white into a separate bowl), 3 tablespoons of olive oil and a tablespoon of water. You may need to put in less or more olive oil depending on the length and thickness of your hair. My hair is quite thin and just past my shoulders. This can be a bit messy so what I usually do is mix this all together in a bowl and pour it on my hair while bending over the bath. You can put this on dry or wet hair but I find it works better on dry hair. I then tie my hair up with a bobbin and leave it to work its magic on my hair for 20-30 minutes. I then wash it out in the shower. I can promise you that afterwards your hair will look and feel amazing.
Another #toptip is to keep the egg whites that you don’t use and store them in a bowl in the fridge. Mix them with one whole egg (the yellow and the white ) and some cheese and serrano ham or whatever ingredients you prefer, and make a delicious protein packed omelette!! There is more protein in the white of the egg than in the yellow and it is important to increase protein intake when working out and exercising in order to help your muscles recover. Protein will also help you to look leaner.
